چکیده

In the SAGD process with dual horizontal wells in heterogeneous reservoirs, injection pressure of steam huff-n-puff by infilled interwell vertical is too high, and heat communication between wellpairs long, which leads to a series problems. The solvent-assisted well stimulation (LASER) technology proposed solve problems above. solvent formula was optimized, its key mechanism studied viscosity reduction experiments, multicomponent phase behavior experiments at high temperature pressure, scaled two-dimensional physical experiments. experimental results show that when adding 10% 2# or 3# oil, crude oil can reach 96.65% 96.73%, respectively. HTHP visualized experiment mixture low flash point (volumetric ratio 3 : 2) has excellent solubility stability similar water vapor behavior, so it determined as ideal formula. reducing porous flow resistance, expanding sweep region injected fluid accelerating thermal communication. cycle reduced from 6 3, greatly shortened time. From rate recovery were improved 19.86% 6.3%, Field-scale numerical simulation performed, production performance compared conventional CSS-SAGD investigated, shows into stimulation, cycles reduced, incremental factor 27.3% 13.2%, improvement LASER been validated 4 field practice, long-term prediction result significant potential reservoirs.

EXPERIMENTAL AND NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION ON LASER BENDING PROCESS

Laser bending is an advanced process in sheet metal forming in which a laser heat source is used to shape the metal sheet. In this paper, temperature distribution in a mild steel sheet metal is investigated numerically and experimentally. Laser heat source is applied through curved paths in square sheet metal parts. Finite element (FE) simulation is performed with the ABAQUS/CAE standard softwa...

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Laser Assisted PC to Polycarbonate Welding

Laser welding is a novel method for direct joining of metals and polymers, which leads to a mechanical and chemical bond between metal and polymer. In this study, feasibility of dissimilar joining between St12 and polycarbonate is studied theoretically. Then, the ND: YAG laser is implemented to join St12 and Polycarbonate. Empirical results indicate creation of a joint between St12 and polycarb...

Numerical and experimental investigation of laser induced tube bending

Mechanisms of the process are examined to better understand the deformation characteristics such as slightly protruded shape at the intrados, wall thickness variation, cross-section ovalization, bending radius, and asymmetry. A finite element model is developed and validated by experimental observations. Factors important to characteristics of deformation are experimentally and numerically inve...

Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Convex Laser Forming Process

Abstract Laser forming is a flexible sheet metal forming technique using laser-induced thermal deformation to shape sheet metal without hard tooling or external forces. Concave laser forming can be readily achieved, while convex forming may occur through buckling, but the buckling direction heavily depends on the sheet surface and pre-strain condition. A new laser scanning scheme is postulated,...
